Indian casinos employ among the most sophisticate surveillance technology of any businesses. One casino official that The Roadrunner contacted said he was uninterested in answering any questions on the subject. No San Diego County gaming tribe confirmed that they were working with the County on this, except for the Sycuan Casino & Resort that told NBC 7 that they were one of several casinos working with the investigation. Valley View Casino & Resort, Pala Casino Spa & Resort, Casino Pauma and Harrah’s Resort Southern California have all reopened.
County health officials last week confirmed they were working with local casinos that could include casinos operated by the Rincon Tribe and San Pasqual Tribe to investigate whether there were cases of COVID-19 linked to casino activity.
